Somolu's printers, barbers, artisans, musicians, designers and tech builders already make the community work. Bisoye Obayan's mandate is to back them with laws, budgets and oversight, so that renewal comes from inside the community, not from waiting on patronage.

Community First

Three ideas run through every commitment in the manifesto.

Self-reliance over dependency

Young people set the agenda for their own community instead of waiting on traditional political patronage.

Economic viability

Homegrown skills, artistic talent and enterprise turn Somolu into a self-sustaining local economy.

Democratic dividends

As the community creates its own value, support for it rests on an equitable, transparent and fair democratic framework.
